If you have bubbles in your pool with a solar pool heater, there are several potential causes. In this video we show the bubbles that you can expect to see when your solar pool heater first turns on. Large bubble coming from your pool jets occur because air is being purged from the solar panels, and there is nowhere else for the air to go but into your pool. This causes large bubbles at one or more pool return jets. It is completely normal and should stop after a few minutes depending on how any panels you have and how much plumbing there is in your system. See more at: http://FloridaSolarDesignGroup.com
How to start up a new plastered pool from day one, and protect the surface from etching. Using Orenda SC-1000 stain and metal control, we can help protect the surface and address the calcium hydroxide that leeches out of the plaster surface into the water. Use the Orenda dosing calculator ("Orenda" in the App Store and GooglePlay) to find the right amount of calcium and adjusters to get the calcium, pH and alkalinity in the right range for well balanced water on the LSI scale.
